Sensible Heat Exchange Core for HRV Systems

Short Description:

A sensible heat exchange core for compatible HRV equipment. It recovers temperature between separate supply and exhaust air paths without intentional moisture transfer. Share your unit drawing and operating conditions to confirm the appropriate construction and dimensions.

Details

DECETOMair / Heat Exchangers

Recover temperature. Keep the air paths distinct.

A sensible heat exchange core transfers heat between the supply and exhaust airstreams in a compatible heat-recovery ventilator. It is intended for temperature recovery rather than intentional moisture transfer. The selected core must be matched to the ventilation unit and project conditions.

01 / Sensible recovery

Heat moves across a separating surface.

When incoming and outgoing air are at different temperatures, the heat-transfer surface allows energy to move from the warmer side toward the cooler side. The ventilation system is designed to keep the two air paths separate.

02 / Humidity behavior

Temperature recovery without a moisture-transfer membrane.

A sensible heat core is selected when temperature exchange is required without intentional water-vapor transfer between airstreams. Condensation and frost management remain system-design considerations under relevant operating conditions.

Sensible heat exchange core selection considerations: dimensions, design airflow and pressure drop

Project fit

Built around your equipment.

Start with the available installation envelope, the design airflow and the allowable pressure drop. The final core specification should be confirmed against the selected ventilation unit and operating conditions.

Match the core to the unit

Core construction and sizing depend on the host equipment. To review a suitable option, share the unit model or equipment drawing, available core envelope, supply and exhaust airflow, allowable pressure drop, operating temperatures and any cleaning or corrosion requirements.

Selection item Information to confirm
